I met Derek on the very day he found out his wife was pregnant with their first child. That same day, we wrote Cross My Mind — my very first single. From there, we spent years working side by side, creating song after song, ultimately leading to the release of my debut album, Something You Can Break.
The personal and creative journeys we shared shaped me — not just as a musician and a writer, but as a person. I’ll always be grateful for the music we made and the time we had.
